Finding Relief From Debt

Bankruptcy Fees

In an effort to make the costs of bankruptcy predictable and straightforward, below I’ve listed a general idea of the types of fees and out-of-pocket costs to expect before you sign. The attorney’s fee may vary depending on your income, the chapter of the federal bankruptcy code used to seek protection from creditors, and the complexity of the case. Bankruptcy attorneys set their fees. However, remember that you get what you pay for when hiring an attorney. The least expensive attorney may not have the bankruptcy experience necessary to protect your best interests throughout the case.
